Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) through its Career Expo continued its career briefings in conjunction with the university’s 12th Maharajan Hafl Al-Takharruj at the Conference Hall of the International Convention Centre on Wednesday.

The briefing was one of UNISSA’s initiatives to provide students information about career opportunities.

The briefing entitled ‘Success Coaching – Find Your Why’ was delivered by Manager of Empowerior and President of the Brunei Darussalam Counselling Association (PERKAB) Major (Rtd) Rusli bin Bujang.

He underscored the importance of actions that inspire success such as being grateful for what we have. He also highlighted a new approach in preparing to apply for a job to boost employability.

Meanwhile, a career briefing with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) was held in the afternoon, facilitated by four RBAF officers. The officers briefed on the qualifications and criteria required to join RBAF, recruitment process, interview test tips, and training.

The organisational structure of units, roles and responsibilities and the skills that can be obtained when joining RBAF were also shared.

Over 100 participants comprising students, UNISSA alumni and members of the public, including 61 UNISSA military cadets attended.
