Speaking at a press briefing at the Phnom Penh International Airport upon Hun Sen’s return, Kao Kim Hourn, a minister attached to the Prime Minister, described Hun Sen’s trip a success, which had importantly contributed to further promoting Cambodia’s ties with China and other ASEAN countries.

“The expo was vital to boost Cambodia’s trade volume with China and other ASEAN member countries, and to attract more Chinese investors and tourists to Cambodia,” he said.
