Cambodia registers 29 new COVID-19 cases, tally at 1,817

PHNOM PENH (XINHUA) – Cambodia on Wednesday confirmed 29 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the kingdom to 1,817 so far, said a Ministry of Health (MoH) statement.

The new infections included 27 local cases and two imported cases. The local cases included 22 in capital Phnom Penh, three in Koh Kong province, and one each in Kandal and Tboung Khmum provinces, the statement said.
