Islam focusses on doing good and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said the best people are those who benefit others.

This was said by Al-Azhar International Rabitah Alumni of Brunei Darussalam (WAAG Brunei Darussalam) Ra’es Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof during the alumni association’s third annual general meeting (AGM) at the Auditorium Hall of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) yesterday.

The ra’es called on the youth to serve the community and listed ways they can contribute as well as the rewards and benefits of service.

UNISSA Rector and WAAG Brunei Darussalam Vice Ra’es I Dr Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal and Vice Ra’es II Associate Professor Dr Siti Sara binti Haji Ahamd were present.

Apart from the usual AGM activities, there was a launch of Sautur Rabitah. It is an information system that keeps records of activities and programmes carried out by the association. It will be a reference and record for WAAG Brunei Darussalam and plays a role in uniting the association’s members and contribute to the country’s development.

The association also discussed programmes and issues including Khairat Azhari, Kalam Azhari and Ukhuwah futsal in July.
