I am surprised that there are currently only four petrol stations that accept debit and credit card payments. And even then, the option is only available for customers of the premium product. It appears at odds with the current digitalisation drive.
Perhaps it is high time for the authorities to consider expanding the service to include all customers at all petrol stations nationwide. Since the onset of the pandemic, a lot of us have adopted the habit of using cards and phone apps for day-to-day transactions. It would be good to see petrol stations support the national digital transformation.
