I would like to call on the authorities to make public sidewalks friendlier to pedestrians.
I was recently in Kiulap when I saw a tourist struggle with the stroller due to the badly-maintained pavement. At one point, the rollers got stuck in a muddy patch, and the woman looked exasperated.
I understand that different developers have different ideas of how to pave their grounds. However, as a result, it now resembles a patchwork project, and uneven roads now cover the commercial area.
Perhaps the authorities could look into implementing some sort of a building code to ensure the roads are more uniform and friendly to both pedestrians and motorists.
