Kampong Jerudong ‘B’ Acting Head Kamis bin Panjang hoped the launch will boost awareness and entice hikers to the new park, adding that it will be open daily from 6am to 6pm (subject to weather conditions).
The day also saw local Kedayan vendors selling traditional dishes and handicraft.
The Kedayan community has also formed Bukit Menjawa Pioneers, who are volunteers helping to guide newcomers along the trail.
