Football clubs in the country particularly Brunei Super League (BSL) clubs have been called to locate an independent training ground as part of a One Club One Ground project initiative.

Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) President Pengiran Haji Matusin bin Pengiran Haji Matasan highlighted this during the FABD Steering Committees meeting held at the Theatre Hall of the FABD House yesterday.

The president said, “The Clubs must identify their own training ground and activate their interest to the owner.”

The national football governing body will support and assist the maintenance and the welfare of the ground in order to level up the training programmes and preparation of each club.

He added, “Clubs should not rely totally on FABD’s ground and One Club One Ground project will be extremely beneficial for the development of the Club.”

The main agenda of the meeting, attended by FABD senior officials, was regarding competition’s rules and regulations for the upcoming 2023 season.
