Brunei youth in Japan for exchange programme

A MEMBER of Kampong Lambak Youth Association (PERBEKAL) is a participant of the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS) 2018 Inbound Programme (Culture) Japanese Language Communication and Japanese Culture Exchange in Tokyo.

President of PERBEKAL Pengiran Haji Nordin bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud and Deputy President Pengiran Mahari bin Pengiran Haji Tahir bid Nurlaila binti Mohd Sapawi farewell at the Brunei International Airport.

The eight-day programme will see the participants engaging in different activities including learning the culture and arts of Japan, attending workshops and homestay.

The programme aims to create an understanding among the people of Japan and Asia-Pacific region and build ties and cooperation.

The programme also encourages an understanding on social, economic and cultural interests of ASEAN and Japan as well as discussing peace and prosperity.

Nurlaila binti Mohd Sapawi was seen off at the Brunei International Airport yesterday. – AZLAN OTHMAN
