The Brunei Youth Council (BYC) signed three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with their new strategic partners namely Society for Community Outreach and Training (SCOT), Projek Bina Ukhwah and Al Amin Recovery Management on Sunday at the Brunei Youth Council Operation Room at the Youth Centre in the capital.
The signing ceremony was attended by the President of BYC Muhammad Aidil Firdaus bin Haji Jukin; President of SCOT Ahmad Syauqie bin Haji Satia; President of Projek Bina Ukhwah Nurul Izzati Nazirah binti Haji Embran and CEO of Al-Amin Recovery Management Md Fazirul Hakeem bin Haji Zenudin. Also present were BYC members and strategic partners. The signing of the MoUs are intended to enhance cooperation between the Brunei Youth Council and the strategic partner of the youth association and youth social entrepreneurs in Brunei Darussalam in dealing with issues related to youth and society. BYC is a non-governmental body that intends to improve the involvement of youth towards integration and changes in line with the vision of this country.
The council consists of associations, youth groups and youth social enterpreneurs that are jointly registered or strategic partners.
It is based at the Youth Centre in Bandar Seri Begawan and has branches in all four districts.
