The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and Singapore Police Force (SPF) conducted a joint exercise codenamed ‘5th Live Blast and Post Blast Investigation Training Exercise Solar Wind V Brunei Darussalam’ from November 7 to 9 at the Binturan Shooting Range in Tutong District.
The three-day exercise was the fifth edition since the start of the joint exercise five years ago in 2014.
According to the RBPF, in 2022, officers and personnel of the RBPF and SPF participated in the training aimed at investigation procedures into explosives and detail handling to find out the true cause of an incident.
Deputy Commissioner of RBPF Dato Seri Pahlawan Sulaiman bin Alidin with Deputy Commissioner (Investigation and Intelligence) and concurrent Director Criminal Investigation Department of the SPF, Deputy Commissioner How Kwang Hwee witnessed the exercise.
Director of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the RBPF ACP Haji Azree bin Haji Abdul Manaf and officials from RBPF and SPF were also present at the exercise.
