Brunei Darussalam recorded 18 new COVID-19 cases with one new cluster yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 15,111. The latest cluster is Nur Naziba Construction Kota Batu staff house involving five cases, said Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar at the daily press conference yesterday.
The minister said, “There are three additional new cases to one of the existing active clusters with previous close positive contacts. There are two imported cases who arrived in Brunei from Egypt via Kuala Lumpur on board flight Royal Brunei BI874 on November 17. Eight new cases are still being investigated to determine the sources of infection.”
