Over 100 participants from Brunei registered for the event, the first ever collaboration between Pan Bright Travel Service Brunei in support of Tourism Malaysia Brunei with Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Miri (SMK Agama Miri), which turned out to be a success.

Out of the total, 63 participants competed in the 44km Mountain Biking Jamboree (MTB) while the remaining participated in the 11km and 5km Fun Run.

A keen participant in running events, Syaza participated along with her husband who competed in the 44km MTB and also managed to get a good spot at the finish line.

For the 44km MTB Veteran, several Bruneian cyclists also managed to get top spots with Ali Mustapha getting third place, Haji Harun bin OKD Haji Semun in seventh place and Hamjah bin Haji Hujan in ninth place. The cyclists were cheered on by their counterparts when they reached the finish line.

This was the second run organised by the SMK Agama Miri. This year, the school collaborated with Pan Bright Travel Service to cater for the Brunei-based runners with categories of the run event being 5km Fun Run and 11km Men’s and Women’s Open, as well as the 44km MTB Open and Veteran.
