Some 302 COVID-19 cases were declared recovered yesterday bringing the total number of recoveries to 219,324. Brunei also continued its streak of zero COVID-19 fatalities in the past 24 hours.
These were shared by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in its daily report yesterday.
There is one case in Category 5 receiving treatment in the intensive care unit and two cases in Category 4 requiring respiratory assistance and under close monitoring.
Meanwhile, 83 per cent of children aged five to 11 were administered at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine while 57.1 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 received three shots. The coverage rate of Brunei population with three shots of the vaccine is 77.1 per cent, while 9.4 per cent of the populace have received the fourth dose.
