Brunei records no new COVID-19 cases

Brunei Darussalam recorded no new COVID-19 cases yesterday, keeping the national tally of confirmed cases at 206. No local transmissions have been logged for 325 days.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) shared the latest development on the COVID-19 situation in the country in its release yesterday.

Twelve active cases are receiving treatment at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in the Tutong District.

Six hundred and eleven are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving in the country from abroad, while 15,566 individuals have completed self-isolation since March 2020.

In the past 24 hours, the MoH obtained 175 samples for SARS-CoV-2 testing, bringing the number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 113,220.

Healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there have been 171 cases in Brunei-Muara District, 29 in Belait District and six in Tutong District.
