Brunei records no new COVID-19 cases

Brunei Darussalam entered its sixth consecutive day with no new COVID-19 cases, keeping the national tally of confirmed cases at 180. There have been no local transmissions for 273 days.

There are five active COVID-19 cases receiving treatment in the National Isolation Centre (NIC).

The information on latest COVID-19 situation in the country as of noon yesterday was shared by the Ministry of Health (MoH).

The MoH has obtained 323 samples for SARS-CoV-2 virus testing during the past 24 hours, and 92,611 carried out tests since January 2020.

Four hundred and seventy-one individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad while 12,413 have completed their stint since March 2020.

Healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there have been 145 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 29 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
