Brunei records no new COVID-19 cases

Brunei Darussalam recorded no new COVID-19 cases yesterday, keeping the national tally of confirmed cases at 176. There has been no local COVID-19 transmission for 266 days.

Four active cases are receiving treatment at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in the Tutong District.

Information on the latest COVID-19 situation in the country as of noon yesterday was shared by the Ministry of Health (MoH).

Meanwhile, the MoH has obtained 346 samples for SARS-CoV-2 virus testing over the past 24 hours, and carried out 90,457 tests since January 2020.

Five hundred and ninety-five individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad while 11,958 have completed their stint since March 2020.

Healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there have been 141 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 29 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
