Brunei records no new COVID-19 case

Brunei Darussalam continues its streak of no new COVID-19 cases for the 84th day, keeping the national tally at 141.

This was shared by the Ministry of Health in a statement yesterday.

Some 434 individuals, who just arrived in the country after travelling, are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at monitoring centres provided by the government.

Meanwhile, 3,707 individuals completed self-isolation since March 2020.

On SARS-CoV-2 virus tests, the ministry revealed that 558 samples were tested in the past 24 hours bringing the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 40,202.

In its breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the country, revealed that there were 110 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 25 in the Belait District and six in the
Tutong District.
