Brunei pilgrims’ haj management MoU signed

A Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) of Brunei Darussalam’s delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, attended the signing of the Haj Management Agreement for Brunei Haj Pilgrims for 1444 Hijrah / 2023 at Jeddah Superdome in Saudi Arabia yesterday.

The signing was the result of the Brunei Darussalam Haj Pilgrim Affairs Management Meeting for the 1444 Hijrah / 2023 Haj Season held online on December 27, 2022.

The Haj Management Understanding Agreement for the country’s haj pilgrims was signed by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim and Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister of Haj and Umrah Dr Abdul Fattah bin Sulaiman Mashat.

The delegation also visited the Haj and Umrah Exhibition organised by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Haj and Umrah, where agreements with haj service providers in Saudi Arabia will be implemented through the exhibition.

Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim and Director of Haj Affairs at the MoRA Haji Abdullah bin Haji Mohamad also attended the opening ceremony of the Haj and Umrah Conference, officiated by Adviser to the Guardian of the two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah His Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal.
