Brunei participates in competition in China

A delegation from the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) is in Chongqing, China to participate in the second Belt and Road International Skills Competition 2024.

The two-day competition begins today, and the Brunei delegation will be participating in contests of information network cabling, coffee making and Internet marketing.

The delegation comprises Mohamad Arizan bin Ahmad, Muhammad Dinie Daim bin Suhainin, Fadhil Abu Bakar and Mohd Amirul Azim bin Haji Mohd Manan, Mohammad Rizal bin Haji Mohd Henry and Mohamad Adiman bin Sezeli. Leading the delegate as the team leader is Safwan Nazmi bin Zulkofli from IBTE’s International and Industry Linkages Division.

The Belt and Road International Skills Competition serves as a platform to promote skills exchange and cooperation among Belt and Road partner countries.

The event features a combination of competition, conference, exhibition, demonstration and fair with sideline events such as dialogues, skill showcases, skill experiences, skill exhibitions, as well as product fairs. – Lyna Mohamad
