Brunei marks 90 days with no new COVID-19 case

Brunei Darussalam marked 90 days without recording a new COVID-19 case yesterday. The national tally of confirmed cases remains at 141.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) tested 486 samples for SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours. Some 42,307 tests were conducted since January 2020.

The latest information of COVID-19 was shared by MoH in its daily release yesterday.

According to the statement, 673 individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad. Meanwhile, 3,820 individuals completed their self-isolation since March 2020.

In its breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the country, revealed that there were 110 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 25 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
