The Brunei History Centre held a History Research Method Workshop at the History Gallery yesterday.
Twelve lecturers and research assistants from Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) participated.
Assistant Rector (Academic) of UNISSA Associate Professor Dr Siti Sara binti Haji Ahmad was present.
The event began with the recitation of Doa and a speech by Acting Deputy Principal of the Brunei History Centre Mardiah binti Haji Ramli.
She said the workshop was part of preparation for a research project for a book titled Ensiklopedia Negara Zikir Jilid 5: Sumbangan Ulama dalam Penyebaran dan Perkembangan Negara Zikir which is a collaboration between the Brunei History Centre and UNISSA.
The project will involve interviews and biographies of famous local and foreign figures in religion. This research is expected to start in November.
