Brunei Esports winners feted

Winners of the Brunei Esports Championship 2020 were feted during a closing ceremony at the Bridex Hall 2 in Kampong Jerudong last night.

Participants competed in Tekken 7, DOTA 2, Mobile Legends and PUBG Mobile.

Muhammad Hafiy Mirza bin Haji Mohammad Shafiee continued his fine form in the gaming scene after emerging champion in the Tekken 7 event. Khairul Wa’ie bin Raduan finished second followed by Chua Tze Wei.

Memes claimed top spot in DOTA 2 followed by close rivals Adversity and Black Flag making the top three.

Goodfellas Gaming won the Mobile Legends category followed by Max Vitality and Vanguard Reaper.

PUBG Mobile was won by Waw Gaming, while God Esport took the second spot and Fear Team third.

Permanent Secretary (Administration, Finance and Estate) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud presented the prizes.

The three-day championship was co-organised by the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and InfoCom Federation Brunei as part of the Brunei December Festival 2020.
