Brunei Darussalam’s strength athlete Abdul Malik Al-Mukkaramah bin Haji Mohd Yusof continued the country’s strength in the international scene after winning the Physique Open Classic category at the Bintulu Family Carnival recently.
The local fitness competition specialist represented Vertics Gym Lumut.
His compatriot Wadud also represented the Sultanate and won third place in the same category.
Eight contestants participated including from Kuching, Sibu and Miri as well as Brunei.
The competition also focussed on healthcare, while highlighting the importance of consuming protein foods which helps strengthen the immune system and reduce the rate of diseases.
Abdul Malik also participated in the Sarawak Powerlifting Open two weeks ago under Vertics Gym Lumut.
