BruLiv Society celebrates 35th National Day

BRULIV (Brunei-Liverpool) Society, comprising Bruneian students studying in Liverpool, the United Kingdom (UK), celebrated Brunei Darussalam’s 35th National Day recently.

The event started with mass prayers of Asar, Maghrib and Isyak led by Ahmad Muaz bin Haji Harun, followed by the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Doa Kesyukuran.

The event was organised by BruLiv Society President Noraizzah binti Haji Asmali, Vice Preseident Nur Amiratul Asyiqeen binti Haji Khalidin, Secretary and Religious Officer Nur Syamsina binti Haji Mahadi and Treasurer Siti Nur Nisrina binti Haji Matali.

Associate BruLiv members were also present.

The event also saw a quiz activity on the culture of Brunei Darussalam.

The event aimed at emphasising the importance of commemorating the historic National Day of Brunei Darussalam for all the citizens of Brunei Darussalam wherever they are, including those who reside in the UK.
