The Village Consultative Council (MPK) of Kampong Sungai Teraban celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri at Kampong Sungai Teraban Mosque recently.
Acting Village Head of Kampong Sungai Teraban Zaini bin Haji Kaderi said the occasion has been held annually by the MPK for the past four years to help further enliven the festivities of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Each year, they also distribute gifts to attendees.
This year, the MPK members handed over 250 goodie bags to attendees, which Zaini hoped will put a smile on their faces, especially those who are celebrating the occasion outside of their home countries.
He added, “We want them to feel the joy that is associated with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration here.”
