Bringing focus to Halalan Thoyyiban philosophy, practice

Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), through the Centre for Leadership and Lifelong Learning in collaboration with the Halalan Thayyiban Research Centre, organised a Halal Executive Course at its premises recently.

The course aimed to provide a detailed introduction to Halal and Haram and help participants to understand the importance of Halalan Thayyiban philosophy and practice, as well as to provide exposure to industry-related Halal regulations in the country.

The one-day course was attended by 36 officers and staff of government and non-government agencies, entrepreneurs and distributors of local food products, academics and private individuals.

Director of Halalan Thayyiban Research Centre Associate Professor Dr Nurdeng Deuraseh facilitated the course.

A presentation of certificates to participants marked the conclusion of the course.
