Brand new car for teen

The Galleria YMRM Tungku Link branch was brimming with excitement yesterday as 14-year-old Ashraf Naqiuddin bin Md Taib emerged as the grand prize winner of YMRM’s highly anticipated ‘Blanja in Brunei Grand Lucky Draw’.

Ashraf, a student of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School (SASHHB) won a Hyundai Verna and said he has yet to make plans for the car he won.

YMRM Group’s Managing Director Hitesh Bhawnani said the campaign, which ran from November 2022 to April 2023, aimed to reward their loyal customers and to encourage people to spend in the country.

“We hope this will serve as an inspiration not only to our customers, but also other businesses,” he said.

The second place winner received a Samsung Fold 4 mobile phone while third place winner will get to enjoy a three-day and one-night stay at The Abode Resort & Spa. Seven customers also received vouchers as consolation.

Permanent Secretary (Sports) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud presented the prizes.

High Commissioner of India to Brunei Darussalam Alok Amitabh Dimri and YMRM Group of Companies Chairman and Founder Ramesh Jiwatram Bhawnani were also present.
