Darussalam Enterprise’s (DARe) 9th Cycle of Accelerate Bootcamp concluded with a virtual ‘Demo Day’ held live on Friday on DARe’s YouTube channel.
The Demo Day which takes place at the end of every cycle of Accelerate Bootcamp serves as an opportunity for participants to network with potential business partners and investors; explore market access and financing opportunities such as investment from angel investors and venture capitalists.
Twenty promising startups from different industries such as ICT, industrial sustainability, wholesale and retail as well as service-industries participated in the 100-day Accelerate Bootcamp programme. The programme helps startups with high-growth potential to prepare for initial investment and market launch by providing resources and guidance.
Over 300 startups have participated in Accelerate Bootcamp, and have collectively raised more than BND3.25 million in investment since 2017.
DARe runs two types of business bootcamps throughout the year, Micro Business Bootcamp and Accelerate Bootcamp.
The programmes include workshops, masterclasses and individual consultation with local and regional business mentors to cover various aspects of business innovation and strategy.
