BNA holds coaching course

THE Brunei Netball Association (BNA) conducted a two-day coaching course with Brunei Darussalam coach Jane Searle at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex, which ends today.

The course was held to provide an opportunity to netball coaches mainly in obtaining updated manual and is hoped that it can be applied during training for their players, besides providing them the confidence to become a coach who is more knowledgeable and practical.

The course hoped to accomplish three goals which included enabling all participants to learn the important roles, duties and ethics of a coach, besides providing knowledge on the updated manual, latest rules and coaching guidelines as well as offering knowledge, netball coaching drill and developing games-specific techniques which can be applied during training.

The objectives of the course were to provide exposure as well as enhance expertise in netball coaching, provide information on the latest rules and coaching guidelines as well as provide knowledge and expertise in becoming a confident and successful coach.
