The Blood Bank at the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital in Tutong District will open to the public on working days from 8am to 11.30am and 1.45pm to 3.30pm, the Ministry of Health’s (MoH) Laboratory Services Department said yesterday.
Meanwhile, to coincide with World Blood Donor’s Day 2022, the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Blood Donation Centre will conduct several blood donation campaigns.
The blood drive at the Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei’s (TAIB) Airport Mall branch from 10am to 2pm today, is organised by TAIB and its subsidiaries, while the drive at the International Convention Centre in Berakas tomorrow from 10am to 2pm will be organised by the Brunei Mid-Year Conference and Exhibition (Brunei MYCE) 2022 Climate Change Week.
Similar drives will be held by Brunei Gas Carriers at McDonald’s in Lambak on June 25 from 10am to 4pm, and Pengiran Isteri Hajjah Mariam Hospital on June 25 from 9am to 2pm.
The public is encouraged to book slots through the BloodKad application ahead of blood donation.
