Donors gave 118 pints of blood during a campaign organised by the Rotary Club of Bandar Seri Begawan (RCBSB) at the NBT Lexus Showroom last Saturday.
The campaign was held in collaboration with the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Blood Bank and NBT Lexus, and is the first RCBSB blood donation campaign for the the Rotary Year 2022-23 under its new President Betty Wong.
RCBSB said in a statement that it understands that blood donation is a humanitarian act which contributes to saving the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients who are in urgent need of blood transfusion.
RCBSB said it also plans to organise more blood donation drives in the coming months.
