Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital organised a BDCB Blood Donation Drive 2022 recently.
The event at the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) building was open to officers and staff of organisations and departments in the building.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and concluded with a presentation of tokens of appreciation to officers and staff of Blood Donation Centre.
The blood donation drive was part of BDCB’s corporate social responsibility initiative aimed at saving lives by helping replenishing the country’s blood stock. It is hoped that the initiative will help those requiring blood transfusions to continue receive appropriate medical care.
