Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam (MPABD) participated in the BIMP-EAGA 2022 Exhibition and Conference in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia from August 2-4.
The delegation, led by Deputy Chief Executive of MPABD Mohammad Bahreen bin Dato Haji Hamzah, comprises Haji Khairul Zaman bin Haji Abdul Jalil, Sadatul Maraini binti Haji Matarsad and Ayuni Amirah binti Rahman.
The event, organised by Sabah Ports Sdn Bhd and Sabah Ports Authority, features 25 world class speakers addressing issues related to BIMP-EAGA challenges, solutions, latest innovations, shipping, supply chain and logistic strategies.
About 125 representatives from various areas comprising senior government officials, senior level executives, academics, BIMP-EAGA port operators and business councils as well as shippers, freight forwarders, importers, exporters and logistics companies from around the region took part in the event.
