Brunei Institute of Leadership & Islamic Finance (BILIF) hosted the BILIF Open Day 2025 on Thursday at the ILIA Building, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), attracting over 100 participants from both the public and private sectors.
The event, held in conjunction with BILIF’s 15th anniversary under the theme Mastery in Motion, featured a series of presentations, showcases, and networking sessions. It provided attendees with valuable insights into professional development, skill enhancement, and certification opportunities.
Acting Chief Executive Officer of BILIF, Awang Afero Eswandy Mohamad, delivered the opening address, highlighting the importance of continuous learning in an evolving professional landscape. He encouraged participants to explore BILIF’s 2025 programmes, designed to support career growth.
The first segment of the event featured a presentation titled Journey to Mastery: Immersive BX, delivered by BILIF and its international partners.
It covered key areas including human resources, leadership, and finance.
In the afternoon, the BILIF Showcase session offered team-building activities aimed at enhancing workplace performance.
Exhibitions were also held, featuring local and international strategic partners such as the Institute for Leadership, Innovation and Advancement (ILIA), Manpower Planning and Employment Council (MPEC), Lifelong Learning Centre (L3C), and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). – Fadley Faisal
