Mimi Nazuwan bin Ibrahim (pic right) of Jakusha Bladers (JB) emerged as champion in the ‘Battle of Accel Driver’ Beyblade competition after beating Haji Rosaimi bin Haji Lamit of Ghostbeys (GB) in the finals held at Jalan Wasai Limuru, Tanah Jambu.
It was organised by Underground Beys (UG) on Friday. Mimi Nazuwan won a slow cooker and a hamper.
Second and fourth places went to Haji Rosaimi bin Haji Lamit, while third place went to Muhammad Luqman bin Haji Kamaludin of Santai Aja Bladers (SA).
Consolation prizes were given to SA Muhammad Amaluddin @ Arif bin Ahad, SA Mohammad Faizal bin Umjah and JB Aediesopian bin Haji Ismail.
The Brunei Darussalam Beyblade League is still in close competition with leaders SA at 115 points, closely followed by the Underground Beys team with 111 points, and JB team with 91 points.
Six teams are participating in the league, including JB, UG, GB, SA, Beyblade Community Brunei and Hageishi Bladers.
