Cybersecurity Awareness Trainer and Security Analyst from Cyber Security Brunei Ida Frida binti Abu recently stressed to a group of senior citizens in the Belait District the importance of raising awareness on cybersecurity to counter online scams. The talk, titled ‘Cyber Security: Issues and Challenges’, was conducted by the Health Promotion Centre in collaboration with Cyber Security Brunei.
Over 20 senior citizens from the Belait Senior Citizens Activity Centre (PKWE Belait) and Baden Powell (BP) Guild of the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) attended the talk held at the Language and Literature Bureau (DBP) library in Kampong Pandan.
Ida Frida binti Abu also shared online tips and advice, as well as how to cooperate with other agencies. The talk concluded with a question and answer session.
