Bess Thai crawled back from 12 points down in the third quarter to snatch a win against Flowerdome 81-73 in the Group D Open Category showdown of the Low San Basketball Tournament on Wednesday night.
Flowerdome with its young core of players put up a valiant game against Bess Thai with Kelvin Chai of Flowerdome having a massive performance of 31 points including four three pointers.
Phuoh Wee Kit contributed 20 points for Bess Thai while Chong Chin Poh and Welfred Phang each added nine points with Hong You Ming having eight points for the win.
In the second game of the night, Last Rite cruised to a easy win over team Parekoy 79-57 in the Group C Open Category. Bess Thai will next face the favourite, Propel X Yi’s Nation, on November 14, while Last Rite will tip off against Ekonic Sdn Bhd on November 18.
