Benefits of Ramadhan highlighted at Munajat night

The month of Ramadhan is the ruler of all months, a blessed month that every true believer looks forward to, said Mosque Affairs Officer at the Mosque Affairs Department at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Pengiran Ahmad Faris Ramadhani bin Pengiran Haji Sellahhuddin.

“Ramadhan is the month that Allah the Almighty presents an offer for the ummah of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), and an ummah who takes it will be qualified for Heaven and saved from the torments of Hell,” he said during the weekly Munajat to mark the 40th National Day celebration at Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in Mukim Kilanas on Saturday.

He said, “In addition to fasting, Muslims are also encouraged to increase the frequency of Al-Quran reading, giving alms, i’tikaf (being at the mosque to recite Doa and read Al-Quran) and enlivening the night with worship (Qiamullail).”

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports organised the Munajat for the 127th time on Saturday.
