STUDENTS who recently received their ‘O’ Level examination results anxiously awaited their turn at the Sayyidina Ali Secondary School (SMSA) in Kuala Belait for the Pre-University (Sixth Form) Registration Day, which opened on Thursday.
Held for three days (January 31, February 2 and February 4), the registration process is a continuation of the SMSA Pre-University Open Day event held last week to expose potential students to various subject options available in both Pure Science and Humanities streams.
With a turnout of over 200 potential students, the registration process aims to prepare them by providing insights into academic life at the school, while also developing them further as they ‘strive towards excellence’ – the basis for the school’s motto.
Those who successfully enrolled at SMSA will start out as Sixth Form students on February 25.
