The Ministry of Health called on the public to come forward to replenish the blood supply at the blood bank of Suri Seri Begawan Hospital in the Belait District as it is currently in need of all blood groups for renal patients.
Donors can visit from 8am to 11.30am and 1.45pm to 3.30pm on working days.
In light of the shortage, the Blood Donation Centre at the Department of Laboratory Services collaborating with other agencies to hold blood donation campaigns, and among them are;
-The Language and Literature Bureau (DBP) in RPN Lambak Kanan on February 20 from 9am to noon;
-OneCity Shopping Centre on February 21 from 10am to 2pm;
-Maju Motors Sdn Bhd showroom in Jalan Telanai on February 22;
-Tranquillity Café at the Kiarong Complex on February 25 from 10am to 2pm.
Members of the public who wish to contribute are encouraged to book a slot through the BloodKad app.
