Bazaar Pandanku Ceria concluded on Thursday with several activities at the compound of the Language and Literature Bureau’s (DBP) Kampong Pandan Library in the Belait District.

DBP Acting Director Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, the guest of honour, was welcomed by Sutera (Sungai Teraban) Association Chairman Haji David bin Haji Kassim.

Among the fun-filled activities included a spoon race, a relay race and a guessing game. Later, the winners received prizes from the guest of honour.

Starting on December 27, the bazaar hosted family-themed activities including a Kenali Warisan Kitani cultural workshop, a cooking demonstration, a storytelling session and vendor booths.

Assistant Chairman of Sutera Association Mohammad Halimin bin Parajin told the Sunday Bulletin, “The bazaar is one of the activities which we conduct to help fill in the time during the school holidays, especially with COVID-19 restricting travel.”

He also said that the association is planning to host similar events to promote a healthy lifestyle and cultural awareness, especially among the youth.
