Bangladesh investments are expected to reach BDT20 billion by 2023. The Bangladesh Government has been making efforts especially with the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) to promote and develop projects on infrastructure, public and economy.

South Korea and Japan are among the two countries included in the joint economic venture, said Political Counsellor Tanmoy Majumder.

Labour Counsellor and Head of Chancery Jelal Hossain, meanwhile, highlighted that investment projects would aid and improve human resources and promote employment opportunities as Bangladesh has a resilient economy.

With current mega infrastructures, including textile, agriculture, manufacturing and light industry, telecommunications, education and medical services, it is very promising as an investment destination as it promotes sustained development, Jelal Hossain added.
