Anjung Saujana is having a bamboo briyani promotion until February 28.
The new menu item, available from 11am-9pm daily, comes in three options – lamb, beef and chicken. The bamboo briyani is served with raita, pickles, dhal and poppadum.
Executive Sous Chef Rosli bin Che Aman said 150 portions will be served a day.
The chef said the idea to serve the briyani came up in December last year and it took almost a month to perfect the recipe and technique. Fresh herbs and ingredients are used to ensure the best quality.
Rosli said the briyani received favourable feedback from diners and received advanced bookings for it.
Other than bamboo briyani, diners can enjoy surf and turf buffet dinner on Saturdays from 6.30-9pm. The buffet spread features Asian cuisine including grilled lamb and chicken, ikan sambal panggang and beef briyani.
RBC Dining Privilege cardholders are entitled to a 10 per cent discount.
