Over 100 companies including Baiduri Bank will this year be participate at a recruitment fair organised by the Manpower Planning and Employment Council and JobCentre Brunei.
The job fair will be held at the Bridex International Conference Centre from today until November 27, from 9am to 5pm.
Aimed to boost local employment across all industries, the event provides a platform for local jobseekers to enhance their employability, marketability through various talks and programmes, and search for career options.
Activities to be held during the job fair include scheduled CV writing and interview clinics, games, career and inspirational talks. Jobseekers interested in a banking career can visit Baiduri Bank’s booth at Hall 1 to learn more about job vacancies as well as some of the bank’s people development and engagement initiatives. Among those attending the event are Head of Group Human Resources and Administration at Baiduri Bank Veronica Chong, along with the bank’s Talent and Wealth Management teams who will share their experiences and knowledge as well as provide information on vacancies, career support initiatives and work culture among others.
Veronica said, “Events such as recruitment fair help connect us with fresh graduates and experienced hires who are actively seeking for career opportunities. This is also a good opportunity for candidates to talk to our talent team and find out more about Baiduri Bank Group, what we can offer as an employer, and the application process.”
