Badminton friendlies help foster close ties between players

Local badminton group Abdulle Alfariete’s Shuttlers held a friendly badminton match for the fourth time against the Indonesia Badminton Club (IBC) at the Kampong Tanjong Nangka Cooperate (SATENAGA) Multi-Purpose Hall recently.

Haji Abdullah bin Haji Mohammad led the delegation which comprised 24 players. Prior to the start of the match, he presented a souvenir to head of the Indonesia Badminton Club Atang Djunaedi.

The friendly match among others aimed to foster ties between local and foreign players in addition to enhance the standard of play in badminton among the Abdulle Alfarietie’s players as well as instilling a sense of togetherness capable in producing a healthy community.

Previously, the local badminton group has played friendly matches with the Lambak Kanan Hall 1 Users, SATENAGA Multi-Purpose Hall Users and the Parit’s Brothers Team.

Meanwhile, another popular local badminton group Bengkurong Veteran Badminton Community (BVBC) also held a friendly match against Pandan Badminton Club KB at Chung Hwa School Kiudang Multi-Purpose Hall. The friendly badminton match aimed to strengthen closer ties between the teams and mainly the two districts.
