LEGASI45, consisting Brunei Darussalam participating youth of the 45th Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Programme (SSEAYP), launched a back-to-school activity for children in Temburong District yesterday.
Fifteen children were presented with school supplies and they also participated in games conducted by the group.
Muhammad Wafiy bin Haji Norhalim, one of the participants of this year’s SSEAYP said the project aimed at assisting children to study hard, practise saving money and uphold the importance of teachings of Islam.
The activity was an initiative by LEGASI45 as part of the SSEAYP Go & Grow to contribute to youth development and involvement in Brunei Darussalam by applying their experiences from this year’s SSEAYP to build a better future for the nation.
