The Magistrate’s Court yesterday fixed August 24 onwards for the trial of a 28-year-old local man who had denied charges of theft, assault and mischief.
DPP Syafina binti Abdul Hadzid’s charge alleges Muhammad Rabani Safwan Shah @ Abdul Qayum bin Haji Siasgar of stealing from a mini mart in Kampong Mentiri on May 5, 2020.
He was also accused of causing hurt to a 29-year-old man and committing mischief to the man’s car sometime in February 2020.
Magistrate Hajah Ervy Sufitriana binti Haji Abdul Rahman presided over the case.
