Some 540 students from 57 primary schools nationwide participated in the 2022 Primary Schools Kids Athletics Festival.
It was organised by the Department of Co-Curriculum Education at the Ministry of Education (MoE) for three days; on November 5 and 7 at the Berakas Sports Complex and at the Tutong Sports Complex yesterday.
Head of Cluster 5 from the Department of Schools at the MoE Abdul Wafi Sia Abdullah bin Abdullah Sia was present at the event. Participants competed in six athletic fields called ‘A Team Event For Children’.
The festival was held to introduce sports activities suiting physical needs and growth, development of children and promoting a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
