The camp also provides an opportunity to unite athletes from various sports to instil teamwork and patriotism while representing Brunei Darussalam.

He reminded the athletes to comply with the established regulations and always display a positive image as a national athlete.

Acting Chief Officer of JBS Nur Iffah Natasha Sofea binti Abdullah in her welcoming remarks said, “The camp is led by sport and OBBD instructors. The first part of the programme is to bring the young athletes outside of their daily training routine.”

The Talented Athlete Sports Camp is a programme to guide the JBS Training Scheme athletes in developing their personality and to excel in sports.

It is also in line with the MCYS’ 2020-2024 strategic plan through the sports sector: Negara Sukan Yang Gemilang to create the best environment for the development of sport and give access to individuals to take part in sporting activities, compete and achieve excellence while practising a healthy lifestyle.
